Server
Job Description:
Provide friendly and responsive service to create an outstanding dining experience for all our customers. Each server’s primary objective is to show our customers a great time that they will want to return to the restaurant.
Responsibilities:

Monitor and observe customers’ dining experience to ensure that they are satisfied with the food and service; and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.

Walk customers to their tables.

Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services

Inform customers of menu changes and daily specials and make recommendations on bestsellers and complementary items.

Take food or beverages orders from customers and write in on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.

Serve food or beverages to customers.

Entertain and resolve customer complaints or problems with a positive attitude.

Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water, and being alert to customer spills or other special needs.

Clean tables or counters after customers have finished dining and prepare it for the next customer, including setting up silverware and glassware.

Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.

Assist host or hostess and cashiers by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking customers.

Assist restaurant custodian by perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up server station, or taking out trash.

Refilling table napkins and topping up condiments and put it in every table.

Thank customers for their visit and invite them to return.

Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.

Follow all sanitation and safety standards set forth by the company.

Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.

Coordinate and assist fellow employees to meet customers’ needs and support the restaurant operations.

Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure customer service standards and efficient operations.

Maintain a positive attendance record by reporting to work for assigned shifts at the scheduled time.

Meet all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified by the company.
Qualifications:

With good verbal communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills

Resourceful, detail-oriented, quick action, and willing to learn
-
Fresh graduate or with at least one-year of full-time related work experience obtained in a similar setting. Candidates with at least a High School diploma with similar work experience are welcome to apply.

Must have a valid health card or equivalent.
